TL;DR

Rabbit SEO WhatsApp Chat is an SEO and backlinks app for Wix with a WhatsApp button attached, and as a chat tool I give it 3 out of 5. On the Wix App Market it is called "WhatsApp Chat & SEO Optimizer", it is rated 4.9 from 824 reviews, and WhatsApp only shows up on the Pro plan at $9 a month ($7.20 on the current yearly sale).

The catch is what that rating measures. I pulled all 824 reviews: zero of them mention WhatsApp or chat. They talk about backlinks, articles and SEO, because the app was sold as "Site Booster Pro" and "Easy SEO" before the WhatsApp name went on the front. If you want the guest articles and speed booster, it is decent value. If you want a WhatsApp chat tool, the listing tells you very little about the widget itself.

And from someone who works a support queue daily: a WhatsApp button opens a conversation, it does not answer it. Once those chats pile up, the job is replying, which is where eesel's AI helpdesk teammate fits. SEO software company SE Ranking has eesel answering about 2,100 live chats a month across three products, with clean handovers for the rest.

What is Rabbit SEO WhatsApp Chat?

Rabbit SEO WhatsApp Chat is the "WhatsApp Chat & SEO Optimizer" app on the Wix App Market, published by a developer called Marketing & SEO Tools. The listing's "Visit our Website" link goes to Rabbit SEO, an SEO platform for small business sites that lists its contact address in Israel on Trustpilot.

The listing's own description calls the product "Website Growth Booster" and describes four jobs:

  • SEO tools with keyword insights and site intelligence.
  • Guest articles published "on high-authority blogs" to earn backlinks.
  • A speed booster to improve your Google PageSpeed score.
  • Conversion tools: "smart chat tools, popups and WhatsApp contact widgets".

It is "Verified by Wix", available worldwide, and runs in eight app languages, including English, Spanish and Chinese. The developer page lists about 20 apps from the same team, from a schema fixer to an image optimizer, and the main Rabbit SEO app is a separate listing.

I'm on eesel's support team, so my lens here is simple: if a small business owner installs this to get WhatsApp messages from their site, what do they actually get, and what happens when those messages arrive?

Because the name changed, and the reviews did not. A July 2026 snapshot of the same listing shows it as "Site Booster Pro" with the tagline "SEO, Speed, Backlinks, Leads & WhatsApp Chat" and 793 reviews. Reviewers over the years call it "Easy SEO" and the "Easy SEO Backlinks Booster". The URL still ends in site-booster-pro, and the eight gallery images all carry the "Site Booster" name.

That history matters for one practical reason: when you read the 4.9 rating, you are reading reviews of a backlinks tool. I come back to this in the reviews section with the numbers.

It also explains the listing's shape. There is a lot about articles, links and page speed, and one line per plan about WhatsApp.

How does the Rabbit SEO WhatsApp widget work?

The listing does not document it. There is no setup guide, no settings list and no screenshot of the live widget, only illustrations of a WhatsApp popup saying "Hi! How can we help you?" next to a "Contact Us" form. Wix's help article on Rabbit SEO covers only the keyword research app.

What I can say is how WhatsApp contact widgets work in general, and the listing's own wording ("WhatsApp contact widgets") matches that pattern: a visitor taps a button on your site, WhatsApp opens with your number, and the message lands in the WhatsApp app on your phone.

Four-step flow of a WhatsApp contact widget: a visitor taps the button, WhatsApp opens, the message lands on your phone, and a highlighted final step asks who types the reply
Four-step flow of a WhatsApp contact widget: a visitor taps the button, WhatsApp opens, the message lands on your phone, and a highlighted final step asks who types the reply

That design has real upsides. No WhatsApp Business API account, no message templates, no provider fees. And the customer keeps the thread on their phone after they close your site, which a classic live chat window cannot do.

The other side: every message waits for a person to pick up the phone. No queue, no assignment, no shared history. On my own queue, the questions that come in through chat are mostly the same ten things, and a button does nothing to shrink that pile.

What features does Rabbit SEO WhatsApp Chat have?

Here is everything the vendor's listing and plan cards name. I've grouped it by what you would actually use.

This is the core of the app and what the reviews are about. Each plan includes a set number of articles the app writes and publishes on other sites, with links back to yours: one article on Free, one a month on Pro, 18 on Business and 60 on Enterprise. If link building is new to you, the idea is that links from other sites lift your domain authority.

Reviewers like how little effort it takes. A few raise fair questions about quality, which I cover below. If you're weighing this against writing your own content, my piece on blog writing for backlinks covers the trade-off.

Speed booster

Plans include a "Speed Booster" with a page-view cap: 5K a month on Pro, 100K on Business and unlimited on Enterprise. The listing frames it as raising your Google PageSpeed score, which ties to Core Web Vitals. One French reviewer reported a score of 74 on mobile and up to 98 out of 100 on desktop after setup.

That gallery image is the closest thing to a product screenshot on the listing. The small dashboard in the middle shows tabs for Dashboard, Site Speed, Conversions & Chat, Site Widgets and FAQ, which hints at where the WhatsApp settings live.

WhatsApp, forms and chat

On the current plan cards, Pro lists "Whatsapp Customized". In July, the same Pro card said "Whatsapp, Forms & Chat Chanelles". The gallery shows a WhatsApp popup and a "Contact Us" form with name, email and message fields.

That is the whole public description. I couldn't find on any vendor page:

  • How many WhatsApp numbers or agents you can add.
  • Whether there are working hours or an away message.
  • Any click or conversation reporting for the widget.
  • Any AI or automated replies inside WhatsApp.

Compare that with a dedicated widget like Smartarget WhatsApp, whose listing spells out launcher styles, a multi-agent picker and per-teammate hours. If chat is your main reason to install, that level of detail is what you want to see before you pay.

How much does Rabbit SEO WhatsApp Chat cost?

There are four plans on the Wix listing, and the prices depend on which toggle you look at. The monthly toggle shows full prices. The yearly toggle shows a 20% sale that the listing says "is valid until 14 November 2026 at 23:59 UTC".

PlanMonthlyYearly (20% sale)What the plan card lists
BasicFreeFreeOne article publish, up to 3 high quality links
Pro$9/month$7.20/month (was $9)1 article a month, Whatsapp Customized, Speed Booster 5K page views a month
Business$95/month$76/month (was $95)18 articles a month, up to 72 links a month, multiple keywords and images, Speed Booster 100K page views
Enterprise$300/month$240/month (was $300)60 articles a month, up to 240 links a month, multiple keywords and images, Speed Booster unlimited

Prices are in USD, from the Wix listing on October 28, 2026.

The Pricing and plans section of the Wix listing on the Yearly toggle, showing Free, Pro at $7.20 a month down from $9, Business at $76 down from $95 and Enterprise at $240 down from $300, as taken from the Wix App Market
The Pricing and plans section of the Wix listing on the Yearly toggle, showing Free, Pro at $7.20 a month down from $9, Business at $76 down from $95 and Enterprise at $240 down from $300, as taken from the Wix App Market

Two things stand out. First, WhatsApp is only on Pro's feature list. Free doesn't mention it, and neither do Business or Enterprise. I'd assume the higher plans include it, but the cards don't say so, which is worth confirming with the developer before you upgrade.

Second, the Pro plan got smaller this year while the WhatsApp line got vaguer.

Before and after of the Pro plan: July 2026 listed 4 articles a month, 16 links a month, WhatsApp, forms and chat, and 10K page views; October 2026 lists 1 article a month, WhatsApp customized and 5K page views, with a $9 a month price tag
Before and after of the Pro plan: July 2026 listed 4 articles a month, 16 links a month, WhatsApp, forms and chat, and 10K page views; October 2026 lists 1 article a month, WhatsApp customized and 5K page views, with a $9 a month price tag

The July snapshot doesn't show prices, so I can't say whether Pro got cheaper too. What it does show is that Pro went from 4 articles and 16 links a month to 1 article, and from 10K to 5K speed-booster page views.

Is this the same price as Rabbit SEO?

No, and this trips people up. Rabbit SEO's own pricing page lists separate web-platform plans: Free, Pro at $18 a month, Business at $120 and Enterprise at $350. That page says plainly that "Wix App Market and Shopify App Store billing are separate", and none of those plans mention WhatsApp.

Rabbit SEO's own pricing page headed SEO Tools Price and Rabbit SEO Plans, with a plan chooser for Free, Pro, Business and Enterprise and a note that marketplace apps bill separately, as taken from rabbitseo.com

So if you search "Rabbit SEO pricing" and land on $18 a month, that is a different product from the $9 WhatsApp Chat & SEO Optimizer app on Wix.

What do Rabbit SEO WhatsApp Chat users say?

I pulled every review from the Wix listing's own review feed on October 28, 2026: 824 in total, with 787 at five stars and one at one star. The 4.9 holds up on the surface.

Underneath, three patterns:

  1. Nobody reviews the WhatsApp part. I searched all 824 for "WhatsApp", "chat", "widget" and "button". The only hit was a reviewer saying that "with a click of a button it creates an article". 75 reviews mention links or backlinks, 67 mention articles or blogs, 63 mention SEO.
  2. Most reviews are very short. 484 of 824 (59%) have fewer than 25 characters of text, things like "Great optimization" or "Best app".
  3. Most reviews came in a burst. 303 of them arrived between December 2024 and February 2025, and only 3 so far in October 2026.
Hand-drawn bar chart of what 824 Wix reviews talk about: backlinks and links 75, articles and blogs 67, SEO 63, site speed 2, and WhatsApp or chat 0 shown as an empty dashed bar

None of this makes the app bad. It means the 4.9 tells you nothing about the chat widget.

The detailed positive reviews are about effortless backlinks:

"The Easy SEO Backlinks Booster has proven to be highly effective. I have successfully acquired numerous backlinks, thereby improving my domain authority."

The same theme shows up for Rabbit SEO as a company on Trustpilot, where it holds 4.8 from 108 reviews:

Trustpilot

"Love that the app allows me to instantly create backlinks and correct my sites SEO without the help of a designer or outsourced pretender. I literally jump on for 5 minutes a day and finish feeling confident that my website is fast and getting traffic."

The critical reviews are few, and they're about the AI-written articles. One four-star review is titled "Not reliable":

"You published the same post twice, even though I changed the parameters. Plus it has my business name wrong and doesnt change in the article even though I changed it before publishing."

A three-star reviewer said the AI writer was "promoting the websites of competitors". The developer replied that this shouldn't happen "unless you chose a keyword which is your competitor brand" and that you can delete the article and create a new one. Another questioned whether the host sites were really high authority; the developer said they are and offered examples by email. Those are the only two developer replies across 824 reviews.

Rabbit SEO also has a G2 profile at 4.6 from 12 reviews, again about the SEO product.

Where does Rabbit SEO WhatsApp Chat fall short?

As a chat tool, mostly on what isn't documented. These are gaps in what the vendor tells you, so I'll keep them factual.

  • The widget is undocumented. No settings list, no docs, no real screenshot of the WhatsApp button on a site.
  • WhatsApp starts on Pro. The free plan lists articles and links, not WhatsApp.
  • No inbox for a team. Nothing on the listing mentions a shared inbox, assignment or shared chat history.
  • No automated answers. The AI in this app writes SEO articles. Nothing says it replies to WhatsApp messages.
  • No helpdesk connection. WhatsApp chats would sit outside your ticketing system, so your first response time is invisible.
  • Wix only. I found this WhatsApp bundle on the Wix App Market only.
  • The rating measures something else. 824 reviews, zero about chat.

None of that is unusual for a WhatsApp button. It's just that most dedicated button apps tell you more about the button.

Who should use Rabbit SEO WhatsApp Chat?

The deciding question is which half of the app you're paying for.

You are...Verdict
A Wix site owner who wants easy backlinks and a speed boostWorth trying on Free, Pro at $9 is fair
A Wix site that wants a WhatsApp button and nothing elseLook at a dedicated widget first
A small business answering WhatsApp from one phoneWorks, but confirm the widget does what you need
A team splitting WhatsApp chats between peopleSkip; nothing here routes or shares chats
A store getting dozens of repeat questions a daySkip; the hard part is answering, not the button

If you're on Wix and comparing chat options, my Wix Smart Chat review and the Wix Smart Chat alternatives list are the next stops.

What are the alternatives to Rabbit SEO WhatsApp Chat?

The useful split is by which job you're really hiring for.

Is Rabbit SEO WhatsApp Chat worth it? My verdict

3 out of 5 as a WhatsApp chat tool. If you came for backlinks and page speed, the app does what its reviewers say: it's easy, it publishes articles for you, and $9 a month is low. The WhatsApp widget is a bonus on Pro.

If you came for WhatsApp, I'd hold off. The widget has no public documentation, the free plan doesn't list it, and the 824 reviews behind the 4.9 rating are about something else. And once WhatsApp works, the same problem every channel has shows up: someone still has to answer every message.

Where does eesel fit next to a WhatsApp button?

Rabbit SEO's app gets a visitor into WhatsApp. eesel is about what happens next. eesel is an AI teammate platform, and for this job the relevant teammate is the AI helpdesk teammate: it joins your existing support setup and answers the repeat questions.

eesel's WhatsApp integration connects to a WhatsApp Business number, answers from your help center, website and past tickets, and hands conversations to your team by topic or confidence. If WhatsApp already lands in a helpdesk, eesel works inside Zendesk or Gorgias too. You set the rules in plain words, like "always hand over refund requests".

eesel's agent dashboard with the Instructions editor open on response guidelines and a chat panel where a teammate updates the agent's rules in plain language
eesel's agent dashboard with the Instructions editor open on response guidelines and a chat panel where a teammate updates the agent's rules in plain language

Two real setups show the pattern. SE Ranking, an SEO software company, runs Zendesk live chat for three products through eesel. Between 8 August and 8 September 2026 it handled about 4,650 conversations, answered about 2,100 live chats first, and handed about 1,260 to the team with the customer's name and email, never promising that a person is "joining now". Question Beauty gets short messages like a product name and "price?", and in the same month eesel sent about 960 replies and closed about 280 tickets without a person, checking Shopify before any order answer.

I've watched enough queues to know the order things happen in: the button goes up, messages pile up, and then someone asks who's going to answer them. For the wider playbook, see how to automate WhatsApp support and my AI agent handoff rules.

What about the SEO half?

If the backlinks side is what drew you to this app, eesel has a second teammate for that job. The AI blog writer finds topics, researches with cited sources and writes long-form posts in your voice, then publishes to WordPress, Webflow, Ghost or Notion. Wix isn't on that list, so a Wix site would copy posts over by hand.

The eesel AI blog writer dashboard with a finished Notion review draft open and a chat panel listing the research, banner and infographics it produced

It's a different trade from guest articles: you build content on your own site instead of renting links on other sites.

Try eesel

If a WhatsApp button is already sending more questions to your phone than you can answer, eesel's AI helpdesk teammate can take the repeat ones and hand refunds and edge cases to you with a note attached. It starts free with 100 credits, and paid plans begin at $299 a month for 500 credits, where one chat is one credit (eesel pricing).

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Rabbit SEO WhatsApp Chat?

It is a Wix App Market app called "WhatsApp Chat & SEO Optimizer", built by the team behind Rabbit SEO. It bundles guest articles with backlinks, a site speed booster and a WhatsApp contact widget. It is not a shared inbox or a chatbot.

How much does the Rabbit SEO WhatsApp Chat app cost?

The Wix listing shows a free plan, Pro at $9 a month, Business at $95 and Enterprise at $300. Yearly billing is on a 20% sale until 14 November 2026, which brings Pro to $7.20 a month. WhatsApp only appears on the Pro plan's feature list. For the heavier route, see my WhatsApp Business API guide.

Is the Rabbit SEO WhatsApp Chat app free?

There is a free plan, but the listing describes it as one article and up to 3 links. WhatsApp is not on the free plan's list, and "Whatsapp Customized" first appears on Pro. If you only want a free button, a plain WhatsApp link or a dedicated widget like Smartarget is simpler.

Does Rabbit SEO WhatsApp Chat have AI replies?

Nothing on the listing mentions AI replies, a chatbot or automated answers inside WhatsApp. The AI in this app writes SEO articles. To answer WhatsApp questions automatically, look at a WhatsApp AI chatbot or eesel for WhatsApp.

Is the Rabbit SEO WhatsApp Chat 4.9 rating reliable?

It is real, but it rates the SEO side. I pulled all 824 reviews and none of them talk about the WhatsApp widget; most mention backlinks, articles or SEO, and 59% are under 25 characters. Read this Rabbit SEO WhatsApp Chat review's chat verdict with that in mind, and see my Wix Smart Chat review for a chat-first option.

Is Rabbit SEO WhatsApp Chat the same as the Rabbit SEO app?

No. They come from the same developer but are separate Wix apps with separate billing. The main Rabbit SEO app handles audits, fixes and rank tracking, and Rabbit SEO's own web plans start at $18 a month. Compare it with other small business SEO tools.

What is a better Rabbit SEO WhatsApp Chat alternative for support?

If WhatsApp is becoming a real support channel, you need WhatsApp inside a helpdesk or a WhatsApp customer service platform, plus something that answers the repeat questions. eesel's AI helpdesk teammate connects to WhatsApp and to helpdesks like Zendesk, answers from your help center and hands edge cases to a person.
