TL;DR

Asyntai pricing runs from $0 to $449 a month, billed per AI reply: Free gives you 50 replies, Starter $39 gives you 800, Standard $139 gives you 15,000 and Pro $449 gives you 50,000. Annual billing knocks about 10% off.

The number that matters is cost per reply. Starter works out at 4.9 cents a reply and Standard at 0.93 cents, so Starter costs about 5x more per reply and caps out at roughly 200 chats a month. Standard is also the first plan with human takeover, escalation and tickets. For most live sites, Standard is the real entry price.

There's no overage. When the monthly allowance runs out, the bot stops replying until the next cycle. If your chats end up as tickets in Zendesk, Freshdesk or Gorgias, eesel's AI helpdesk teammate counts a whole chat as one credit and keeps working the ticket after the chat ends. That's how Beautek turned 20 website chats in a month into Zendesk tickets for its sales team.

Type your monthly chat volume and the average number of AI replies per chat to see the cheapest Asyntai plan that fits, your cost per chat, and how close you'd run to the hard cap.

How much does Asyntai cost?

Asyntai is an AI chatbot for websites from Advanced AI s.r.o. in Prague. It has four self-serve plans and an Enterprise tier, and every one of them is priced by the number of AI replies the bot can send in a month. I pulled the numbers below from Asyntai's pricing page on October 27, 2026.

Asyntai also shows euro prices: Starter is 35 € (31 € billed yearly), Standard 125 € (112 €) and Pro 399 € (359 €). You can pay by bank transfer if you email the team.

The feature gates are where the plans split. Free only lets you review chat logs. Starter adds 7 features, including chat analytics, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp and Discord channels, Zapier, the REST API and lead capture. Standard adds 19 more, including the voice agent, product cards, the real-time data feed, custom tools, human takeover, escalation and support tickets. Pro adds 25 on top, including proactive messages, branding removal, SSO, a reseller dashboard and reply suggestions. If you're weighing the features themselves, my Asyntai review goes through each one.

What counts as an AI reply?

An AI reply is each message the bot sends, not each conversation. A visitor who asks about shipping, then returns, then a discount code, is one chat but three or four AI replies. Asyntai's plan details describe the allowance as the "maximum number of AI replies the bot can send", and in a voice call each spoken answer also counts as one AI reply.

That's the detail that makes the plan names misleading if you skim. Most chatbot pricing I read for this blog counts conversations or resolutions instead, so 800 sounds like 800 customers. It isn't.

A hand-drawn table converting Asyntai's monthly AI replies into chats at 4 replies each: Starter 800 replies is about 200 chats, Standard 15,000 is about 3,750 and Pro 50,000 is about 12,500

At 4 AI replies per chat, which is a fair guess for a support chat with a follow-up question or two, Starter covers about 200 chats a month and Standard about 3,750. If your bot asks clarifying questions or collects an email before answering, the replies per chat go up and the chat count drops. Before you pick a plan, open the chat logs in your current tool and count replies on 20 real conversations. My guide to chatbot analytics shows what else to pull while you're in there.

What does each Asyntai reply actually cost?

Divide the plan price by its reply allowance and Asyntai's ladder looks very different from the sticker prices. Starter is the most expensive plan per reply, by a wide margin.

A hand-drawn bar chart of Asyntai's cost per included AI reply: Starter $39 for 800 is 4.9 cents, Standard $139 for 15,000 is 0.93 cents and Pro $449 for 50,000 is 0.90 cents, about 5x less than Starter

PlanCost per reply, monthlyCost per reply, annualCost per chat at 4 replies, monthly
Starter4.9 cents4.4 cents19.5 cents
Standard0.93 cents0.83 cents3.7 cents
Pro0.90 cents0.81 cents3.6 cents

These numbers assume you use the whole allowance, which is the catch. On Standard, 15,000 replies is a lot of headroom, so a site doing 500 chats a month pays $139 for 2,000 replies and the real cost is about 28 cents a chat. That's still cheap next to most per-conversation bots. My chatbot cost guide puts it next to per-seat and per-resolution models.

The jump from Starter to Standard is the one to plan around. It's +$100 a month for 18.75x the replies, plus handoff and tickets. Pro to Standard is the opposite story: $310 more for 3.3x the replies at almost the same unit price, so you move to Pro for the features (branding removal, more seats, more websites), not for cheaper replies.

Which Asyntai plan fits your volume?

Here's how the plans line up for four buyers, assuming 4 AI replies per chat and monthly billing. The calculator at the top of this post runs the same math on your own numbers.

BuyerChats a monthAI repliesPlan that fitsMonthly costWhat I'd watch
Small shop testing AI on FAQs150600Starter$3975% of the cap used, and no handoff
Store that needs a person on hard chats150600Standard$139You're paying $100 for takeover and tickets, not replies
Growing store or SaaS site1,0004,000Standard$139Plenty of headroom; voice is 200 minutes
Busy multi-site brand15,00060,000Pro + 75,000-reply add-on$674Add-on is $225 a month on top of Pro

The second row is the one I'd point most readers to. If a visitor can ever say "can I talk to someone?", you need chatbot escalation, and on Asyntai that starts at Standard. So for a support use case, $139 a month is the real starting price, not $39.

Starter makes sense for one job: an AI that answers product and policy questions on a small site, with the contact form as the fallback. It's the classic AI chatbot vs live chat trade, made on price. If that's you, Asyntai is one of the cheaper ways to do it, alongside the tools in my roundup of Shopify chatbot apps.

What happens when you hit the Asyntai reply cap?

The bot stops replying. There's no pay-per-reply overage and no automatic top-up. Asyntai's Zendesk integration docs say the monthly allowance "applies across all your channels and integrations", and put the limit plainly:

"Once you exceed it, the bot stops replying until the next cycle or you upgrade."

A hand-drawn diagram of website chat, WhatsApp, Instagram, voice calls and Zendesk chat all draining one monthly AI reply allowance, with an arrow to a paused chat bubble labelled bot stops until next cycle, and a note saying no overage

The "across all your channels" part is the bit that bites. Your website widget, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, voice calls, and any helpdesk integration all draw from one pool. Connect the bot to WhatsApp or Instagram during a promotion and those replies come out of the same 800 or 15,000 your website chat depends on.

A hard cap has an upside: your bill never surprises you. The downside is that it fails during your busiest week, which is exactly when visitors need answers. Three things I'd do on Asyntai:

  • Size for your peak month, not your average. If Black Friday doubles chat volume, your plan needs to cover that month.
  • Keep a human fallback visible. A contact link or email in the widget's custom notice gives visitors somewhere to go if the bot goes quiet.
  • Check usage weekly in the first month. Real replies per chat are usually higher than the guess you started with.

What else does Asyntai charge for?

The plan price covers most of what Asyntai does, but five costs sit outside the reply count or show up only when you need them.

Human handoff starts on Standard. Human takeover, escalation, AI notifications and support tickets are all Standard features. Takeover happens in Asyntai's Live Monitoring screen, and tickets land in Asyntai's own Tickets dashboard, not in your helpdesk. Asyntai does connect to Zendesk AI Messaging and Gorgias AI chat, but only as a text-only chat bot.

Phone calls are billed by Twilio. Standard and Pro let the voice agent answer your phone numbers, but you connect your own Twilio account and "Twilio bills the calls on your Twilio account", per the pricing page. Each spoken answer still counts as an AI reply, so voice drains the same pool as chat. My guide to AI voice agents covers what that setup involves.

Seats are fixed per plan. You get 1, 2, 3 or 10 dashboard seats. More than 10 means the Custom Pro add-ons: 15 seats is +$158 a month and 25 is +$316.

Branding removal is Pro only. The "Powered by Asyntai" line stays on every plan below $449 a month. If you run the widget for clients, Pro also adds a white-label reseller dashboard.

Annual plans lock you in. The pricing page notes that "annual plans cannot be downgraded to a lower tier until the billing period ends." Saving 10% is worth it once you know your volume, not before.

Past Pro's limits, Asyntai's Custom Pro page lists monthly add-ons for each limit:

Custom Pro add-onOptions (monthly, on top of Pro)
AI replies75,000 +$225 · 100,000 +$449 · 150,000 +$898 · 200,000 +$1,347 · 300,000 +$2,245 · 500,000 +$4,041 · 1,000,000 +$8,531

Concurrent calls10 +$750 · 25 +$3,000 · 50 +$6,750

The reply add-ons keep the unit price close to Pro's: 100,000 replies at $898 a month is 0.90 cents each. Voice is the expensive line, since 3,000 minutes adds as much as the whole Pro plan. On Pro and Enterprise, Asyntai also offers free done-for-you setup: it adds your content, writes the AI instructions and styles the widget.

Where do Asyntai's own pages disagree on price?

Two of Asyntai's numbers differ depending on which of its own pages you read. The pricing page is the one I'd trust, since it's the page you pay from, but you should know about the others before you compare plans.

WhatPricing pageOther Asyntai pages
Free plan replies50 a monthShopify App Store listing: 100 AI messages a month
Starter replies800 a monthStarter vs Standard page and the Shopify listing: 2,500 a month

The 800 figure also appears on Asyntai's homepage and its free-vs-starter comparison, so 2,500 looks like an older number that didn't get updated. If you're installing from Shopify and planning around 2,500 replies on Starter, check the dashboard after you upgrade. At 800, a 4-reply chat gives you about 200 chats, not 625.

Is Asyntai worth the price?

For a website that wants an AI answering questions from its own pages, yes. Standard at $139 for 15,000 replies is one of the lowest per-chat prices I've seen for a widget with handoff, voice and product cards. Asyntai is also built in the EU, which matters if GDPR is part of your buying checklist, and its Enterprise page adds zero retention mode and PII redaction. My enterprise chatbot guide lists what else to ask for.

Where I'd hesitate:

  • Starter is a trial in disguise. 800 replies and no handoff is fine for testing. For a live store, plan on Standard.
  • The hard cap is a real risk. A bot that goes quiet mid-month is worse than no bot, because visitors have already learned to ask it.
  • Tickets stay in Asyntai. If your team works in a helpdesk, the AI's tickets live in a second inbox someone has to check. That cost doesn't show on the pricing page, but it shows up in cost per resolution.
  • There's no public proof yet. The Shopify listing, the WordPress plugin and the Chrome extension all show zero reviews so far.

How does Asyntai pricing compare with other chatbots?

Every tool in this space bills by a different meter, which is why the sticker prices don't compare. Here's a quick view, using each vendor's own pricing page as of October 27, 2026. My Asyntai alternatives post prices them all for one 2,000-chat site.

On pure price per website chat, Asyntai Standard is hard to beat. The trade-offs are in the last two columns: what happens at the limit, and where a chat goes when the AI can't finish it.

How eesel prices an AI chat differently

I'll be straight about it: if all you need is an AI answering FAQs on a marketing site, Asyntai is cheaper than eesel. eesel's pricing is a fixed monthly credit plan, starting at $299 for 500 credits and $499 for 1,000, with 100 free credits to try it. A chat is 1 credit however many replies it takes, and a ticket is 1 credit however long it runs, so the replies-per-chat guesswork goes away.

What you pay for is the job after the chat. eesel is an AI helpdesk teammate: it answers in a website chat bubble, and when a chat needs a person it opens the ticket in Zendesk, Freshdesk or Gorgias, then keeps drafting and sending replies on that ticket.

eesel's agent workspace with two Website integrations and two Zendesk integrations connected in the sidebar, a Simulation skill, and a setup chat suggesting questions to test the agent on
eesel's agent workspace with two Website integrations and two Zendesk integrations connected in the sidebar, a Simulation skill, and a setup chat suggesting questions to test the agent on

Two customers show the shape of it. Beautek, a B2B equipment supplier in Siegen, answered 77 German-language website chats in a month, drafted replies on about 110 Zendesk tickets, and created 20 Zendesk tickets straight from chat, most of them sales leads for the sales team. ClutchLoop, a phone accessory brand on Gorgias, handled about 230 tickets and 27 website chats in a month and sent about 180 replies with no person needed, checking products live in Shopify 76 times.

The cap works differently too. When eesel's credits run out, agents pause and you get an email as you get close, or you turn on overage at $0.80 a credit with a monthly cap you set. Before any of that, you can test it before launch by simulating it on your past conversations.

Try eesel

If your Asyntai chats keep ending with "I'll pass this to the team" and a ticket nobody sees in your helpdesk, eesel is built for that hand-off. It answers on your site from your pages and help center, opens the ticket in Zendesk, Freshdesk or Gorgias, and keeps working it with your team. Start with 100 free credits, no card, and try eesel on your own site.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Asyntai cost per month?

Per Asyntai's pricing page, Free is $0 for 50 AI replies, Starter is $39 for 800, Standard is $139 for 15,000 and Pro is $449 for 50,000. Enterprise is priced on request. My chatbot cost guide shows how that per-reply model compares with per-conversation billing.

Is Asyntai pricing cheaper if I pay annually?

Yes, by about 10%. Annual billing makes Starter $35 a month ($420 a year), Standard $125 ($1,500 a year) and Pro $404 ($4,848 a year). An annual plan can't be downgraded until the billing period ends, so I'd run a month on monthly billing first. My chatbot ROI guide covers how to size the commitment.

What happens when Asyntai runs out of AI replies?

The bot stops replying until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade. There's no pay-as-you-go overage, and the allowance is shared across the website widget, WhatsApp, Instagram, voice and helpdesk integrations. Watch usage in the dashboard, and set up chatbot escalation so visitors still reach a person.

Is there a free Asyntai plan?

Yes. Asyntai's Free plan includes 50 AI replies a month, 1 website, 50 crawled pages and 1 seat, with no card required. The Shopify App Store listing says 100 messages, so check the dashboard after signup. For more options, see my list of free AI chatbots.

Which Asyntai plan includes human handoff?

Standard, at $139 a month, is the first plan with human takeover, escalation, AI notifications and support tickets. Free and Starter answer with AI only. If handoff is the reason you're buying, budget for Standard from day one, and read my guide to AI handoff best practices.

Does Asyntai charge extra for voice calls?

Standard includes 200 voice minutes and Pro includes 1,500, and each answer in a call also counts as one AI reply. Phone calls through your own number are billed by Twilio on your Twilio account. My guide to AI voice agents covers what else to budget.

How does Asyntai pricing compare with eesel?

For pure website chat, Asyntai is cheaper: 1,000 chats a month fits Asyntai Standard at $139, while eesel's pricing puts 1,000 credits at $499. eesel counts a whole chat or ticket as one credit and also works the ticket queue in Zendesk or Gorgias, which Asyntai doesn't do.

What are the best Asyntai alternatives on price?

Chatbase, DocsBot, Tidio, Crisp and Botpress are the closest swaps, each with a different billing meter. My Asyntai alternatives post prices all of them for the same 2,000-chat site, and my Asyntai review covers features beyond price.
