TL;DR

Quriobot pricing is €0 for 500 chats a month, then €13 to €143 a month on Business, priced by how many chats you allow, plus an Agency plan from €499. Prices exclude tax, and paying yearly gets you one month free.

The sticker price is only half the bill. Quriobot's AI runs on your own OpenAI API key, so every AI answer is billed separately by OpenAI, in dollars. At a few thousand chats a month that second bill can be bigger than the Quriobot plan.

The other catch: there's no overage. When a paid plan hits its chat limit, the bot goes invisible until the 1st of the month, so you size for your busiest month, not your average one.

If you want AI that answers support chats without a separate OpenAI bill or flows to maintain, eesel's AI chat bubble counts a whole chat as 1 credit, AI included. It's pricier per chat, and Question Beauty shows what that buys: about 280 of roughly 990 tickets in a month closed without a person.

Type your busiest month's chat count and how often visitors hit an AI step to see both bills. The OpenAI side is an estimate built from OpenAI's published per-token rates.

How much does Quriobot cost?

Quriobot costs €0 a month for up to 500 chats, and €13 to €143 a month on its Business plan, depending on the chat limit you pick. That's straight from Quriobot's pricing page, which I checked on 27 October 2026. I'm Rama, and I build integrations for eesel, so the part of Quriobot's pricing I care most about is the part that isn't on that page: what the API calls behind the bot cost. I'll get to that after the plans. If you want the features rather than the bill, my Quriobot review covers them.

Here's every plan in one table:

PlanPrice per monthChats per monthWhat it adds
Free€0500All 20+ step types, live chat, every channel, OpenAI integration, campaigns, knowledge base
Business 1,000€131,000Remove Quriobot branding, custom landing page domain, generalized domain
Business 2,500€272,500Same as above
Business 5,000€495,000Same as above
Business 10,000€8510,000Same as above
Business unlimited€143UnlimitedSame as above
Agencyfrom €499UnlimitedSub-organization discount, custom deployment domain

Two things make this table unusual. First, the features barely change between plans. The Free plan already gets every step type, the WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber and Facebook channels, native live chat and the OpenAI integration. Paying mostly buys you chats and the right to take Quriobot's name off the bot.

Second, every Business tier is the same plan. You aren't choosing between feature sets, only how many chats you allow. That makes the decision simple, and it puts all the weight on one number: your chat count.

What do you get on each Quriobot plan?

Quriobot's feature table has more than 30 rows, and all but five are ticked on every plan, Free included. The rows that change are about branding and white-labeling.

Quriobot's feature comparison table with Free, Business and Agency columns, where live chat, Freshdesk, Google Drive, OpenAI and Azure AI Speech integrations are included on all three, while branding removal and custom domains start on Business and the sub-organization discount and custom deployment domain are Agency only, as taken from Quriobot's pricing page

  • Free: everything except branding removal and custom domains. Your bot carries Quriobot's name in the footer.
  • Business: adds "Remove Quriobot branding", a custom domain for the bot's landing page, and a generalized domain so shared reports and embed code don't show control.quriobot.com.
  • Agency: adds a discount for client sub-organizations and a custom domain for the embed code and the Control Room, which is what a full white-label setup needs.

Removing the branding takes two steps per Quriobot's academy: upgrade to any paid plan, then switch it off under Settings. So if branding is your only reason to pay, the €13 tier does the job.

Support is listed as email support on all three plans. There's no phone line or named account manager on any public tier, which is normal at this price.

What counts as a chat in Quriobot?

A chat is counted when the bot starts chatting, and a full conversation is still one chat no matter how many messages it has. That rule comes from Quriobot's chat counting page, and it has three practical effects.

  1. Chats from every bot on your dashboard, across every website, add up against one monthly limit.
  2. A visitor who closes a bot that opened on its own still counts, because the bot already started.
  3. "Opens" and "Completed" on your dashboard are different numbers from billed chats, so don't size your plan from them.

The soft-start setting is the lever that matters most for cost. Here's how Quriobot's academy says each case is counted:

What happensCounts as a chat?
Any chat in preview mode (URL ends in ?mode=preview)No
Soft-start on, visitor closes it without startingNo
Soft-start on, visitor clicks the button to startYes
Soft-start off, bot starts on its own, visitor closes itYes
Soft-start off, bot starts on its own, visitor carries onYes
Soft-start on, but the bot auto-starts after a delayYes, once it starts
"Store chat before the jump" is set on a Next jumpYes

If your bot pops open on every page load, you'll burn chats on visitors who never wanted to talk. Turning on soft-start, so the bot waits for a click, can be the difference between the €27 and €49 tier. Quriobot also suggests switching on reCAPTCHA in the bot's Advanced tab so search-engine crawlers don't get counted.

This is per-chat billing in its plainest form. It's friendlier than per-message pricing, because a long conversation costs the same as a short one. I compare the main billing units in my chatbot cost guide.

What happens when you hit the chat limit?

There's no overage on Quriobot. Per the same academy page, you get an email at 90% of the monthly quota, and at 100%:

  • On the Free plan, the bot starts showing a Quriobot message inviting visitors to create an account.
  • On a paid plan, the bot stops functioning and goes invisible on your website.

The quota resets on the 1st of every month, and it also resets when you upgrade or downgrade. So if you get the 90% email mid-month, upgrading straight away gives you a fresh allowance on the bigger tier.

The chart shows why this matters. Per 1,000 chats, bigger tiers get cheaper, from €13.00 down to €8.50. But because a paid bot vanishes at the cap, you can't run close to the line. A store that averages 900 chats but spikes to 1,300 in a sale month needs the €27 tier, not the €13 one.

For a lead-capture bot, a few hours of a missing widget at the end of the month is a shrug. For a bot that answers support questions, it means customers suddenly have nowhere to ask, usually during your busiest stretch. It's one of the AI chatbot problems buyers only notice after launch. Some tools take the opposite approach: Botpress's pricing page says you "never get cut off" and adds conversation packs automatically instead. Neither model is wrong, but they suit different jobs.

Does Quriobot pricing include AI?

The OpenAI integration is ticked on every plan, Free included, but the AI usage isn't. Quriobot's AI features connect to your own OpenAI account with your own API key, and OpenAI bills you directly for every answer.

The setup, from Quriobot's academy guide to AI answers from your website, goes like this: add an OpenAI integration with your key, create an assistant under Integrations, attach a vector store holding your documents (or set up an automation that scrapes your website into it), then add a chat completion step to your bot. If you've never built on OpenAI's assistants, expect an afternoon of setup. The AI-powered message drafts for live chat agents use the same assistant, and the model list comes from your own OpenAI account.

Hand-drawn diagram of two receipts joined by a plus sign: a Quriobot plan billed in euros at a flat price per chat tier from €0 to €143 a month, and your OpenAI bill billed in dollars per token and per file search that grows with every AI answer, with the note that total cost equals both receipts

So a Quriobot bot with AI has two bills. The Quriobot one is flat and predictable. The OpenAI one moves with every answer, and it's billed in dollars while Quriobot bills in euros.

One small inconsistency on Quriobot's side: the pricing page still describes the OpenAI integration as using "GPT-3", while the academy guides show assistants running whichever model you pick from your account. I'd go by the academy, which is clearly the more recently updated of the two.

What does the OpenAI side cost?

Each AI answer costs you three things on OpenAI's side: the input tokens (your instructions, the retrieved document chunks and the chat so far), the output tokens (the answer), and a file search call to look up your documents. Here are OpenAI's standard rates from its API pricing page:

OpenAI costGPT-6 LunaGPT-6.1 TerraGPT-6.1 Sol
Input, per 1M tokens$0.10$1.00$2.00
Output, per 1M tokens$0.50$5.00$10.00
File search call$2.50 per 1,000 calls$2.50 per 1,000 calls$2.50 per 1,000 calls
File search storage$0.10 per GB a day, 1 GB freesamesame

To turn that into a per-answer number, I assumed 5,000 input tokens and 300 output tokens per answer, plus one file search call. That's my working estimate for a support answer with a few retrieved chunks, not a Quriobot figure, so check it against your own usage dashboard after a week.

Per AI answerGPT-6 LunaGPT-6.1 TerraGPT-6.1 Sol
5,000 input tokens$0.0005$0.005$0.01
300 output tokens$0.00015$0.0015$0.003
1 file search call$0.0025$0.0025$0.0025
Total per answer$0.00315$0.009$0.0155

The surprise here is the file search call. On GPT-6 Luna, the cheapest model, the file search fee is about 80% of each answer's cost. Picking a cheaper model saves less than you'd think once your bot is looking things up in your documents. My OpenAI API pricing guide covers the other rate cards, including GPT-6.1 Terra.

You can cap the damage. OpenAI lets you set a monthly budget in your billing settings, after which it stops serving requests. Be careful with that on a support bot, though: hitting it means your AI step stops answering.

What does Quriobot really cost at your volume?

Here's what both bills look like at four volumes. I assumed half of all chats reach an AI step, and each of those gets 3 AI answers. Change those numbers in the calculator above if your bot is mostly AI or mostly scripted.

Chats a monthQuriobot planPlan priceAI chatsOpenAI on GPT-6 LunaOpenAI on GPT-6.1 Terra
400Free€0200$1.89$5.40
2,000Business 2,500€271,000$9.45$27.00
8,000Business 10,000€854,000$37.80$108.00
25,000Business unlimited€14312,500$118.13$337.50

Three things stand out:

  • At small volumes, Quriobot is close to free. 400 chats a month costs €0 plus a few dollars of OpenAI usage, if you can live with the branding.
  • On Terra, the OpenAI bill catches up with the plan by about 2,000 chats. At 8,000 chats it's $108 against an €85 plan.
  • At high volume, the plan becomes the small part. On unlimited, €143 is flat, but the OpenAI bill keeps growing with every answer.

That pattern isn't unique to Quriobot. It's the same split I see whenever a tool leaves the model bill to you, and it's why I'd always price the total cost of AI support, not the plan alone.

The 8,000-chat row also shows the cap at work. 8,000 chats would fit nowhere below the 10,000 tier, and the 5,000 tier at €49 would leave the bot invisible for part of the month.

Are there yearly, agency or non-profit discounts?

Yes, three of them, though only one shows on the pricing page itself.

Yearly billing. Quriobot's order process page says that if you pay annually "you get one month for free". That makes a year 11 times the monthly price: €143 a year for the 1,000-chat tier, €297 for 2,500, €539 for 5,000, €935 for 10,000 and €1,573 for unlimited.

Agency pricing. The pricing page lists Agency from €499 a month with unlimited chats.

Quriobot's Agency plan card showing a price from €499 a month with unlimited chats, a sub-organization discount and a custom deployment domain, as taken from Quriobot's pricing page
Quriobot's Agency plan card showing a price from €499 a month with unlimited chats, a sub-organization discount and a custom deployment domain, as taken from Quriobot's pricing page

Quriobot's agency academy page adds the detail: client accounts are separate sub-organizations, each with its own plan, at 50% off Business pricing.

Client planNormal priceAgency price
1,000 chats€13€6.50
2,500 chats€27€13.50
5,000 chats€49€24.50
10,000 chats€85€42.50
Unlimited€143€71.50

The academy page doesn't mention the €499 figure, so ask Quriobot how the two fit together before you sign. Agencies can also group every client account onto one invoice with consolidated billing.

Non-profits. Quriobot's non-profit page offers the same discount as agencies, if you send proof of non-profit status and add a reference to Quriobot on your website's partners or contacts page.

What about VAT and payment?

Every price on the pricing page excludes tax. Quriobot is based in the Netherlands, and its VAT page explains that businesses with a VAT ID get the tax reverse charged, so you handle it in your own tax return. Without a VAT ID, "additional mandatory VAT might be added" depending on your country.

Invoices are paid automatically in the first days of each month from your saved payment method, per the billing page. If a payment keeps failing for more than a month, your account is blocked. Quriobot also runs a small 0.01 cent check payment when you add a card.

Where do Quriobot's own pages disagree?

I found four places where Quriobot's pages don't match. None changes the core prices, but they're worth knowing before you buy.

  1. Plan names. The academy's subscriptions page still lists a "Business Plus" plan with a Twitter channel and an "Enterprise" plan. Neither appears on the current pricing page.
  2. Email support. The same academy page says Business adds email support, while the pricing page ticks email support on Free too.
  3. Agency price. The pricing page says from €499 a month; the agency academy page only describes the 50% client discount. G2's vendor-supplied listing shows older Agency and Enterprise prices, which I've ignored in favor of quriobot.com.
  4. The AI model. As mentioned, the pricing page says "GPT-3" while the academy shows a model picker tied to your OpenAI account.

The pricing page is the source I'd trust for plan prices, and the academy for how billing actually works.

How does Quriobot pricing compare with other chatbots?

Quriobot is one of the cheapest chatbot platforms around on the sticker price. To compare fairly, here's what 1,000 chats a month, all answered by AI with about 3 replies each, would cost on four other tools. Every price is from the vendor's own pricing page, billed yearly where that's the default.

ToolPlan that fitsMonthly costHow it adds up
QuriobotBusiness 2,500€27 + about $9 to $27 OpenAI1,000 chats sits exactly at the €13 cap, so one extra chat hides the bot; 2,500 gives headroom
ChatbaseBasic$1204,000 message credits; 3,000 replies fit, assuming 1 credit per AI reply
LandbotStarter$151$36 for 500 chats and 100 AI chats, plus 500 extra chats at $0.05 and 900 extra AI chats at $0.10
eesel1,000 credits$4991 chat = 1 credit, however many replies, AI included
BotpressPlus$670$150 for 250 conversations, plus 8 packs of 100 at $65; $0.10 of AI usage per conversation included

Quriobot wins on price here, and it's not close. What the others add is AI that's part of the product rather than an account you run yourself, and in most cases, the bot doesn't disappear at a cap. My pricing guides for Chatbase, Landbot and Botpress go deeper on each.

If you're shopping at the low-cost end, the pricing for Tidio, Crisp and Smartsupp is worth a look too.

If you've already decided to move, my Quriobot alternatives post ranks the options by job, and the Chatbase alternatives and Botpress alternatives lists cover the AI-first tools.

Is Quriobot worth the money?

For the job it was built for, yes. If you want a scripted bot for lead capture, quizzes, appointment forms or a product finder, Quriobot is hard to beat: €0 to €27 a month covers most small sites, and the features don't hold anything back on the cheap tiers. Users tend to agree on the value. Even a reviewer who left 0.5 out of 5 over a 2022 lifetime-deal dispute wrote:

G2

"It's easy to create conversational flows, customize branding, and deploy bots across multiple pages or websites. The platform offered good value and versatility for automating basic interactions and lead capture."

Capterra reviewers are cooler, rating it 3.6 out of 5 for value for money from 7 reviews on Capterra, and the learning curve comes up often. My Quriobot review has the full picture.

Where I'd hesitate is customer support. A customer service chatbot needs to answer from your help center and past tickets, hand off cleanly to your helpdesk, and stay visible on your busiest day. On Quriobot that means running an OpenAI account, building the assistant and its document store yourself, watching two bills in two currencies, and sizing your plan for the peak. That's a fair trade for a developer with time. For a support lead, the hours usually cost more than the €27 saves, which is the point my chatbot ROI guide keeps landing on. My comparison of an AI chatbot vs live chat covers when each makes sense.

eesel for website chat with the AI built in

If what you're really after is a chat bubble that answers support questions, eesel works the other way around: you don't build flows or bring an OpenAI key. The eesel chat bubble learns from your help center, website and past tickets, answers visitors, and hands anything it can't solve to your team in Zendesk, Freshdesk or Gorgias with the context attached.

eesel AI working inside Zendesk, drafting and sending replies on support tickets

The pricing is one bill. Per eesel's pricing page, a chat is 1 credit however long it runs, with plans from $299 for 500 credits to $1,749 for 5,000, and a free trial with 100 credits and no card. When you run out, the agent pauses, or you can turn on overage at $0.80 a credit with a monthly cap you set. That's more per chat than Quriobot, and I won't pretend otherwise. What you're paying for is an agent that's ready to answer, not a builder.

Here's what that looks like for real teams:

  • Nordbutiker runs a bot for each brand and country combination, across 4 brands and 4 countries. The chat bubble on each store answers from that store's own pages, and each bot learns from the solved tickets for its own Zendesk brand.
  • Timengo runs two public chat pages in Danish that answer common how-to questions directly, drawing on 5,300 past tickets and help center articles, while eesel prepares about 300 Freshdesk tickets a month for its engineers.
  • Question Beauty had eesel handle about 990 Gorgias tickets in a month across Messenger, email and chat, sending about 960 replies and closing about 280 without a person.

eesel has run AI on live support queues for years, and the lesson I'd pass on is to test before you trust it. You can run eesel against your past tickets before it answers a single customer, so you see the answers first. If you want a support chat that answers on its own, try eesel free with 100 credits and see how it handles your real questions. Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Quriobot cost per month?

Per Quriobot's pricing page, Free is €0 for 500 chats a month. Business is €13 for 1,000 chats, €27 for 2,500, €49 for 5,000, €85 for 10,000 and €143 for unlimited. Agency starts from €499 a month. All prices exclude tax. My Quriobot review covers what you get for that money.

Is Quriobot pricing per chat or per message?

Per chat. Quriobot counts a chat when the bot starts chatting, and a full conversation is still one chat, however many messages it has. Chats from every bot on your dashboard add up against one monthly limit. That's simpler than per-message billing, which I compare in my chatbot cost guide.

Does Quriobot pricing include AI?

The OpenAI integration is included on every plan, Free too, but the AI itself isn't. You connect your own OpenAI API key, and OpenAI bills you for every answer at its own rates. My OpenAI API pricing breakdown has the current per-token prices.

What happens when I go over my Quriobot chat limit?

You get an email at 90% of the monthly quota. At 100%, a Free bot starts showing a Quriobot sign-up message, and a paid bot stops working and goes invisible on your website until the quota resets on the 1st. There's no pay-per-chat overage. If chats matter to your support, compare that with tools in my Quriobot alternatives list.

Does Quriobot have a yearly discount?

Yes. Quriobot's academy says annual payment gets you one month free, so a year costs 11 times the monthly price, for example €297 instead of €324 for the 2,500-chat Business plan. The pricing page itself only shows monthly prices. See how that compares with other free AI chatbots before you commit.

Is Quriobot's free plan really free?

Yes, for up to 500 chats a month, with every step type, live chat and the OpenAI integration. The catch is Quriobot branding, which only a paid plan removes, plus your OpenAI bill if you use AI. It's a fair way to test whether a scripted website chatbot fits your traffic.

Is Quriobot cheaper than eesel?

On the sticker price, yes: Quriobot's 1,000-chat plan is €13 a month, while eesel's 1,000-credit plan is $499. Quriobot's AI runs on your OpenAI bill on top, though, and you build and maintain the flows. eesel's AI chat bubble counts a whole chat as 1 credit with the AI included, and learns from your help center and past tickets. The eesel pricing page lists every size.

How much does Quriobot cost for an agency?

The pricing page lists Agency from €499 a month with unlimited chats, a sub-organization discount and a custom deployment domain. Quriobot's agency academy page lists 50% off Business plans for client accounts, from €6.50 for 1,000 chats to €71.50 for unlimited. If you run support for clients, my guide to AI customer service for agencies covers the wider options.
