The company
BEAUTEK GmbH is a B2B supplier in Siegen, Germany, in business since 2006. It sells equipment and furniture to cosmetic, hair, tattoo, foot care, massage, physio and medical studios: treatment couches, chairs, steamers, microneedling pens, trolleys and more, from its online shop, a showroom in Siegen and a phone line staffed weekday mornings and afternoons. It ships across Europe.
The problem
BEAUTEK sells to businesses, so the questions are specific. Does this couch come with heating, can I get this chair by a certain date, when does my order ship, why does my invoice say this. The team gives real advice on the phone, but the phone is answered 8:30 to 16:30 on weekdays and the shop is open all the time.
The team also wanted the advice to come from the right sources. Much of the product detail lives on the suppliers' own websites, in a Notion workspace and in Google Drive, not only on beautek.de.
How it runs
BEAUTEK connected Zendesk, Notion, Google Drive and its website to eesel in May 2026. eesel reads about 6,100 web pages across beautek.de and the sites of the brands it stocks, about 380 Zendesk tickets, 100 Drive documents and 60 Notion pages. All of it runs in German.
- Website chat, live. The KI-Chat bubble on beautek.de answers product and order questions directly, day and night, and says plainly that it is an AI answer. For anything important it gives the team's phone number and email.
- Orders from BEAUTEK's own system. eesel looks an order up by the customer's email address after an identity check, and reports status, tracking and whether payment is outstanding. It looks up and explains; the order itself is handled by a person in Zendesk.
- Leads go to sales. A request for a quote, a consultation or a bigger order becomes a Zendesk ticket tagged for the sales team, with the customer's details and a phone number when they give one.
- Handover. Frustration, legal questions, complex orders or parts problems, or simply asking for a person, all create a Zendesk ticket with the conversation attached and a promise that someone will be in touch.
- Zendesk tickets, drafted. A customer message wakes eesel unless it is spam or a supplier pitch. It writes a draft and an internal note. The team approves before anything is sent.
- A second chat window on the site handles the same questions inline, with its own prompts for order status and product advice.
A month of work
Between 8 August and 8 September 2026 eesel worked about 110 Zendesk tickets and answered 77 website chats for BEAUTEK. It wrote about 180 draft replies, left about 140 internal notes, ran about 110 knowledge searches and created 20 Zendesk tickets from chat, most of them sales leads. Volume has been rising since July, and the first week of September was the busiest yet.
